Well designed, easy to use right out of the hard case. The case has space to store an extra set of batteries if needed. There is also a storage space for the LS-B10 laser receiver installed on the machine. When I ordered it. The sender has sent this FEX-EX with the required signature. A++ for that. Topcon manufactures products of excellent quality. I've used it for at least 40 hours on the same batteries and it's still working. Update: May 1st 2019 still using the same battery they say 60 hours but I use 80 hours and it still lasts. Maybe because the battery is new. No complaints. I have a set of D cells on hand, really want to see how long this can last. This made installing French gutters so easy. Setting up my concrete forms and setting the incline to 2 degrees. It hits the border every day and I no longer need two people with transit.
