After a bad experience with the Izzo Swami 3000 GPS (very inaccurate) I decided to get a laser rangefinder. I have tried both Bushnell V2 and Leupold GX-1. I liked the extra features of the Leupold, but as others have pointed out, I found the under-picker footage, like the Bushnell, to be preferable. If you wear glasses while gaming like I do, your eye's slight extra distance from the rangefinder lens shifts the Leupold display a few feet out of your line of sight, requiring you to tilt your Leupold after a laser shot to read footage. I've used V2 a few times and it's easy to use, easy to read (even for an old man) and very accurate. I am very happy with the performance. Update 10/29/12: Battery lasted about 20 laps or so. One downside is that there is no low battery indicator. It was just acting weird until I changed the battery. It's probably a good idea to take a spare battery with you. I'm still amazed at how it helped me get the right distance. Still worth 5 stars.
