This is a very good hamburger press, it's made of durable plastic and I've washed it in the dishwasher several times with no problems. I've used different types of hamburger presses in the past and have always had trouble getting the meat out of the press so it doesn't stick or fall apart, even when I use cooking spray. This design allows me to make uniform burgers with ease, tossing meat, squeezing hard, popping out the perfect burger, and washing up is a breeze. This is used all year round.
