This is junk. In reality, it doesn't look like the photo at all - it's clearly made out of cheap plastic painted a metallic color. Not only does it look cheap (much worse than I expected from a $15 salt and pepper shaker!), it's actually cheap quality. After less than two months of infrequent use, the plastic container broke in half while I was grinding the salt. dish on the stove. The entire bowl was covered in chunks of sea salt (and possibly shards of plastic), and neither the bowl nor the meat grinder could be recovered.
