I use this with a 100 watt solar panel, a cheap charge controller and a 100Ah deep cycle lead acid battery. The inverter plugs directly into the control box and powers a ceiling fan, some LED lights, and sometimes a radio, TV, or standing fan. I also connect my phone directly to charge it.
