I have purchased several quality juicers over the past 25 years and I had a specific purpose in mind when I purchased this one. I was traveling to another country and didn't want to part with my juicer, so my quest was for a slow vertical juicer (very important) that is compact and light enough to carry in my carry-on, yet powerful enough to fulfill the standards of a full-size juicer. This one did not disappoint! In fact, I now have this juicer on my desk and use it daily, much more often than the full sized one.
