I needed more sticky pieces to reattach the magnetic phone holder. I've had no problems with them in the winter, but I've had problems with them coming loose in very hot weather (like Texas). They may work better in climates that don't heat up your car's interior by 150 degrees, but the seller was able to satisfy me satisfactorily. If you are looking to attach it permanently I would suggest using a JB Weld so you can use a very handy holder all year round.
