Review on Efficiently Scan and Digitize Documents with HP Scanjet L2706ABGJ 7000 Sheet-Feed Scanner by Gavin Hernandez

I bought this item in January 2013 for over $600, after moderate use (and it was supposed to be a heavy duty scanner) it stopped working in June 2013 - lamp issues. I contacted the seller and they referred me to HP, after contacting HP they told me they would use a local support company to exchange the item. Two weeks after the first complaint I have to keep calling Netser Trinidad to know when they are arriving. For three days in a row they told me they were coming with someone who hadn't arrived yet - all the while my business and my customers were suffering. To make matters worse, the response from HP support was terrible when they asked me what my complaint meant (after I sent an email asking what the delay was and when they would fix it) and they ended the email with "HP makes it happen." no update, no apology, no word on when my issue will be reviewed. Very poor service, if I could give 0 stars I would.
