When I first opened the collar box I didn't know how to work with it. There were no instructions on how to turn the light on or off or where to charge the battery. Once I figured out the LED is bright enough to see my dog in the dark. Turning the light off or on is not that easy, especially when your dog won't stand still. I've found that when I walk my dog with a rental and he pulls on an adjustment, he loosens up and needs to be hoisted up again or adjusted. Love the fact you can see us in the dark but if it gets dim I might lose my collar. I haven't decided yet whether to return this item.
