Large variety of colors with mixing chart for more options or more of the same. The colors are bright and cover well. Definitely newbie here and they are easy to use and mix even as a beginner. Each vial is sealed but can be broken with the tip on the lid. I bought them mainly to stamp flowers on our mailbox, but the grandchildren are also enjoying the rock art with them. Good consistency. The paint is thick enough to hold well without running but is also very easy to work with. This would make a wonderful gift with some paintings and/or an art book. So nice to have brushes in the set.
