I had never knitted so wanted to try to teach myself, I continue the first night and hardly get through beyond the first page. The pictures are totally useless anyway, they rather confuse me because they don't show enough detail in the pictures. I had my husband try and he couldn't at all. I know knitting isn't easy, but don't buy this book just to learn how to buy piece by piece and then use the patterns.
