I snapped a picture with the K4 after reading all the great reviews and to be honest was confused when I got it. I was going to use it mainly for writing in MS Word (basic writing, around 80 wpm, no games) and needed a numeric keypad to be able to enter numbers for my work. It seemed like a great first mechanical keyboard for a beginner with a lot of cool features, so I was sold. Unfortunately, it's a lot nicer to look at than to use, and that's after I've really tried to love it and give it a chance. I sent it back after trying it for a few days due to the following issues. They were obvious as soon as I got it, but I really tried to give it a try as I found the design to be so aesthetically pleasing. It is very large: My relatively large hands (each of which can easily hold a basketball) could hardly fit on the keyboard due to their height. I bought a wrist rest to fix this and I still felt uncomfortable with #2. Long key travel and small/narrow switches didn't help much. I guess I'm used to a magic keyboard with big square keys/keycaps and less space between them.2. The top row (Q through P) seems too far from the home row, and it seems like you actually have to stretch out your outer fingers to get to that top row. I read about it but thought I would be ok because of my big hands. It wasn't like that. This could be corrected by giving it a more curved shape to make it easier to reach. I really didn't enjoy the switches enough to form a real opinion about them because the fitment issue really bothered me. I went into it thinking that my big hands would save me and I am writing this to warn others that this is not the case (everyone is different to me of course).
