They may be good for turtles and other reptiles, but they don't warm enough for bearded dragons. As soon as I put them in, I noticed that they were significantly dimmer than the 75W bulb I had before. First, after letting her warm up, I measured her heat with a ray gun and got 110 degrees Fahrenheit, which is very good. However, it has only been a few days since I measured it again and the reading has fallen to 93 and continues to fall. That's not good for a young bearded man! Especially now that it's colder. I even noticed that my beard seemed sluggish and didn't look as vibrant anymore. I strongly recommend NOT using these lamps on bearded dragons. Yes, you'll save money, but it's not worth compromising your beard's health. Overall very disappointed and will be back in a heartbeat.
