Works as described. We have him in the igloo style cat shelter. When our resident cat realized he had to sit on it for a while to keep warm, he just kept using it. We often find it there in the morning when we wake up, suggesting he's probably using it during the coldest part of the night into the early hours. In winter, the temperature here regularly dips to teenagers (or below). Seems to be a good product at a reasonable price. Use it for the first season. He was there for several months. Let's see if it lasts.
