These are great belts at a very reasonable price. The material is very durable and light. Leather is great for belts, but cost and quality vary widely and tend to stretch/tear over time. This is also due to the standard design of holes and pins. Being a snap fit design eliminates this issue which also allows for a 'custom' fit with unlimited adjustments. The width of the belt is about 1.5 inches. It may be too wide for some belt loops. I like the width, it prevents the belt from kinking/tying and offers more surface area for less movement up and down the waist.
