We grill a lot in warm weather and also have a pit oven that smokes. These mesh grill bags are used when we are allowed to grill and smoke again. I'll be experimenting with this to see how well it works, how easy it is to use and clean, and how long it lasts. Contains four pockets in two sizes, each with a zipper. Usually, small vegetables like cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, small colorful peppers, sliced onions, fish, even garlic and small potatoes are good contenders. I love this concept and have used grill mats made from the same material. You just place them on the grill surface and small items don't fall through and they work well for fish which can be tricky. So I expect them to work in a similar way. They appear to be well made and should last for years. UPDATE 4/18/21 I found the mesh pockets too stiff to flex the top and align the locking buttons. lit anyway while I preheated the grill. I used a large mesh bag and a small grill bag. Perfect day for sausage and some grilled veggies Thickly sliced onions Unsliced mushrooms Thickly chopped peppers Olive oil, drizzle all over I placed all the olive oiled veggies in two mesh bags. They all fit fairly easily and the oil helps them slide straight into the bags. I immediately noticed how easy it was to turn the bags over with pliers. Wow! That's easy! You just have to be careful when turning it over unless the packaging is sealed. Mine weren't sealed as they were too stiff to bend. I wish they had an alternative to the two metal latches (which didn't work for me). Everything is included in the packages. Cooking all those veggies, especially a whole large onion (thickly sliced) has never been easier! I've flipped it many times and haven't lost anything from the open end. Nothing fell into the grate. Everything was properly prepared. No, really, it turned out pretty nice. My wife commented on how perfect everything was. She liked it very much. These grill bags are ideal for grilling vegetables. I'll try chicken wings, fish, anything else that goes with it. Also, they are serious competitors to my Pit Barrel Cooker (Smoker) for items too small to attach. I can easily attach and hang the bag.
