These headsets offer unsurpassed sound quality, let me tell you what. Whether you want to take to the battlefield and wreak havoc on the communists or tickle your imagination with a Netflix show; You get every detail. Bass hits the soul, not the head; as rich and deep as the Titanic. The FX hits midrange and doesn't reach the atomic level - maybe in Japan, but not in my case. Both together create a feeling that can be summed up as 200 of those THX sounds you've heard on old school VHS and DVD, along with the church choir singing Eye of the Tiger. Balance of performance, these headphones fit snugly in my 10 gallon hydrohead at the maximum length setting with the ear cushions. I managed to break them even more by twisting and pulling on the headband to reshape the plastic, but they were still too tight. Not the best comfort but they could be better which is why they get 4 stars.
