Review on OpenIndiana by Delbert Potter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect alternative of CentOS and openSUSE

The best thing about this OS, it's that I can run my Linux applications without any problems! It works perfectly with all versions from Red Hat to Ubuntu (and everything in between).

You don't need much space for your files or programs because they are very small compared other distributions like Fedora which take up more than twice as many megabytes per program/file installed; so if you have limited hard drive resources then go ahead otherwise there will be no problem running them here either since their size isn´t too big at least not when comparing each one against others such us Windows 10 etc.. There aren’ts anything bad but maybe some people might find its design looks old fashioned while most users would prefer something modern looking especially those who use computers mainly online where aesthetics matters less anyway ;-) In short nothing really important apart form being able install software easily using yum.

Pros
  • Its easy installation process
  • Relatively fast performance once loaded into RAM even faster after installing an SSD :)
  • Easy access through GUI interface.
  • Very good support community forums available both English & Spanish languages.
  • Can download torrents directly via web browser
  • No ads whatsoever except what comes out by default within Firefox itself due mostly related issues associated wth Flash player plugin used instead..(which is also free)
Cons
  • Not enough options
