These are my first Ikebana scissors so I didn't know what to expect. If you're expecting typical scissors, you need to be aware that the design with no finger holes makes them hold up differently. However, scissors are easy to use once you know how to hold them. The blades are very sharp and easily cut small branches used in flower arrangements. I highly recommend them to professional florists or those new to the home who want quality cuts on their flower stems that, when used with the right methods, will extend the life of your floral arrangement.
