Bought a GE personal security alarm and a SABER door alarm each to compare. SABER and GE are very comparable in terms of cost, size and weight, but the SABER features are far superior to GE. The SABER alarm can be heard across the 3,800 square feet. feet, and it's WAY, WAY LOUDDER than the GE. the ON/OFF switch on the back of the device is switched off. Based on my 26 years police experience I can assure you that SABER is by far the best choice for a very cost effective, easy to use and powerful door alarm system. I think the GE Personal Security doorstop will disappoint you, but the SABER door alarm will exceed your wildest expectations!
