Bought this so my pup could ride safely until he was an adult. It works fine for us, but a few things make it a little difficult. The clip that holds them to the seat never stays the length I shorten it to. All it takes is a little tug and it will come off completely. The strap material seems to be too smooth. I end up using his leash on his harness and guiding him over the back of the seat so he doesn't jump onto my lap. I found the front strap, which will likely wrap around the back of the passenger seat, works great if you have a handle over the door, otherwise the seat folds as soon as it puts its paw on the front barrier. Good fit. Will work well until he outgrows it. If I were to get one long term if I had a small breed I might invest in a longer lived one.
