Review on 🧡 Dritz 3203 Plastic No-Slip Quilting Hoop, 14-Inch: Get Optimal Grip for Seamless Quilting by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this quilted headband!

I handquilted a double quilt with a 14 inch wooden hoop. I was able to do it, but the outer frame didn't stretch enough to easily insert the quilt, and the frame itself was only 1/2 inch high, so it was brittle for the quilt's weight. I saw this tire at Revain. The first thing that attracted me was that the outer tire could be extended a lot more than my current tire. It is tightened with a wing nut. The frame is much bigger and stronger than my wooden hoop. It's plastic. I've used plastic hoops in the past and they always slipped, so I was skeptical but wanted to give it a try. The tire arrived and I found that there is a rib that fits into the groove where the two tires meet. The ceiling does not slip! The blanket was easy to put in the hoop. It wasn't difficult at all to move it to another part of the ceiling. Now there was a lot more room to work under the covers. The tire is very durable and easy to work with. I like how the outer hoop tightens. As a result, I ended up quilting more than I planned because the embroidery hoop was very easy to work with. I definitely recommend this 14 inch quilt frame.
