Poor quality and features don't work

Removing the broken screen turned out to be a difficult task. The blue plastic lockpick broke twice and proved utterly useless when attempting to insert it between the screen and the phone's body. Also, the weak sucker didn't help at all. I had to resort to the help of a razor for fear of a tragic slip which would snap my fingers/hand. Luckily I escaped unscathed after removing the screen. After that, the transfer process was pretty easy; I decided to watch a useful video on the Internet. Instant impressions at launch: The screen quality is MUCH lower than the original. Goodbye crisp Retina display. Clearly visible blurring on the rounded corners of app icons, text, and images. Although I wasn't too disappointed yet; I expected a lower quality screen. Also, there are lost functions and features I've encountered: 1) True Tone functionality has been lost - I never realized how much I appreciated it until it was gone. 2) The flashlight and camera icons on the lock screen are not working for some reason. For the camera, I can swipe left to open the camera, but the buttons on the lock screen no longer work. 3) and 4) [I'm willing to say that due to component transfer this might be my fault, maybe I did something wrong] Auto-brightness control stops working and the screen doesn't turn off during a call. So now I have to hold the phone away from my face so my cheeks don't press the buttons while I'm on the phone. There may have been some other issues that I can't remember right now, but nonetheless I found this screen very disappointing and a total waste of money. I'd rather pay the $279 Apple wanted so I could have 1) a fully functional phone and 2) a good screen. Now I'm in a situation where I'm either still paying for repairs from Apple or I just get a new phone on top of that $85 waste. Oh yes, the magnetic screw card was a practical little helper. However, it doesn't cost $85!
