It looks just like the picture. Luxurious faux fur.
I am wearing to a December wedding in Texas. Could be freezing but we won't be outside to long. Could be barefoot weather and I'll just carry the shawl. If this could be made longer, into a mid calf coat with fur lining the bottom and up the front. Leave the hooks. Do not add buttons. That would be gorgeous.
