Review on π GRIP 56030 Compact Locking Pliers Set - 2 Piece by Michael Thaxton
Release levers don't work
Need a small pair of pliers for a small set. I bought this kit and immediately noticed that the release levers didn't work. With very light clamping pressure they work at HIGH pressure, but with medium to high clamping pressure they don't work at all. I had to use some real bench vises to separate the handles of these pliers. I've since bought branded 4 inch locking pliers for $10-11 each and they work as expected.
