Review on 📞 VTech CS6649 Phone System - Expandable Corded/Cordless with Answering System, Caller ID/Call Waiting, and Handset/Base Speakerphones by Heather Reyes

I got this for my office - works very well for something basic, answering machine, caller id . The only thing that confuses me is that the handle is very light so it kind of slips when hanging. I don't know if that means it was made cheaply or maybe to update how heavy the handpiece was back then, but it's way too light now if you ask me. Update: Ironically for a few days after leaving it I couldn't hear the people on the other end and they couldn't hear me, the phone company said it was probably our headset. So he was good for a little over a year. UPDATE: This is definitely a phone. If the phone company would come out and check our lines and also connect it to another phone it would work. There is static on the base and handset, it's hard to hear and I feel like I'm shouting into the phone so people on the other end can hear me. It's also so boring that when people try to leave messages, they cut themselves off thinking no one is talking. VERY sorry I really liked this phone but it doesn't seem to last long.
