I use it to heat water for tea and it works very well. Sturdy, with a nice long handle. But it doesn't flow smoothly if I fill it too close to the top. I need the water level at least 1/2 inch below the top, which wouldn't be a problem if the pot was a little bigger. But at this level it doesn't fill my cup. water or spillage when i water. Not perfect! For the price I don't think it's too much to expect smooth pouring so I wouldn't buy it again.
