First of all they said they were true to size and I ordered a size 12 which is the size of my NB Minimus shoes which I walk in comfortably. The Merrells were very close and guessing wouldn't help. They're already looking weirdly long and sausage-like, and there's so much cushioning in the midsole it looks like there's practically another foot in there. I know something needs to be added, but it was out of control. I made this part of the shoe very narrow. Also, the toe box was very flat – again, lots of padding in the sole. I walked the treadmill in it for about two minutes and that was enough for me.
