Review on General Motors GM 25749635 RETAINER by Jasneet Jazzy

So I bought the part based on my VIN in the GM database. Turns out the part doesn't fit. I had to force it in because the guides (grooves) didn't line up with the template in the plate hole for the latch. GM is a joke and has been declining in quality for decades and I hear it has reached critical mass with its 2020 products. I gave this one 2 stars because after trial and error it worked and forced it into place. There is no other part than this. So folks, if you need it, you have to deal with it the same way I did. It worked fine in the end, but really?
