Review on 🌸 ACTIVA Flower Drying Silica Gel - 1.5 Pound by Kelly Caballes

I bought this to store a few roses which I am displaying in a shadow box along with my other wedding items can. Paper instructions were included but they were INSIDE the package which I didn't find until I started the project. It would be helpful if these instructions were posted on the outside. I am rating this 4 stars due to the inconvenience. There are 2 methods of drying flowers - microwave and "normal". I've tried both. The microwaving method has discolored the rose (see image with the stem). The microwave method was quick, but the result wasn't as pretty. I dried the other 2 roses "normally", they came out much better, the color was preserved. These are the flowers I ended up using. I let them dry in the tin for 3 days before opening them. I would recommend that you dig through the instructions before you begin. I also recommend the traditional drying method if you want your flowers to keep their color.
