Review on Versatile Loopbelt: Brown Black Reversible Belt for Effortless Style by Mike Kimball

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost what you pay for.

Pros: - Thin. Not bulky. It is especially important when the ends overlap. Seems tough enough. keeps its shape Won't fold up like a soft sling. Made well enough for light duty. Two colors. Cons: Rubber inserts on the ends are too grippy. The inside grips your pants and is difficult to slip. No hanging hole. Not the end of the world, but suspension straps certainly come in handy. This belt is designed for light work, everyday wear or everyday use. Don't ask him to do more than support your pants. It's enough for hiking where weight is important. Would be good for motorcycles; light, thin, no buckle to scratch the tank or bump the belly. This belt is not suitable for holstering or any work that requires a heavy and stiff belt. This is not a carpenter's work belt. I have a Duluth leather belt with no buckle. Great belt but a little bulky for some things (few) and the color runs a bit when the leather gets wet. The paint on the belt with the loop did not flow after a few soaks. The biggest and almost only complaint for me is the grippy rubber tips. The Velcro is longer than the distance between two belt loops. So start by tying the belt, then slide it under the belt loop so the end doesn't overlap the next loop. The rubber tip does not want to slip on the fabric of the trousers. Otherwise, this belt is worth a very reasonable price. And the one I have has two colors so it's like two straps in one.

Pros
  • If you hate belt buckles like I do then this is the perfect belt - the comfort is amazing!
Cons
  • Improved Velcro straps can lose grip after repeated use, making the belt less secure over time.
