I ordered it to practice making cocktails. I started an occasional bartender job and have opportunities to work on home parties. I ordered this kit to practice, and it has all that's needed. Only thing I would make better, the measuring shots are made too thin and lightweight. They are made of metal, but as I'm used to the one from the bar, it's missing that weight in your hand, not to spill as well. It feels too light, like it's made of plastic. Everything else is worth the price, and the shaker is just decent. I love the little book of recipes as well. So it is a great gift. ANYONE can use it and learn how to make all the basic cocktails. I gave it to myself as a gift :-) Still didn't have time to try it on but I will post pics
