First I want to say that they have such nice negative reviews because people didn't read the instructions. The balloons are a lot bigger than the 6 inch balloons people have complained about, when you start filling them they look like they are full on the 6 inch balloons but as you continue to fill them fill, they expand much more. The lights do NOT go into the balloon, they wrap around the outside and it's copper wire so I just twisted the wire so they stay on top of the balloon which is a beach ball material. Also, after the balloon is inflated, the hole needs to be twisted and then tied up, otherwise air will leak out. The glue dots are for attaching the battery pack to the wall or near the balloons, not for attaching the wire to the balloons. Batteries only hold 2 AA each, so I needed 12 batteries. I saw a review that said each balloon requires 4 batteries, but that's not true. The only downside is the size of the battery and also I filled my battery with helium and after adding the wire it became too heavy. But I think maybe I could fill them in even more and then they would probably float and be a bit bigger. Overall it's nice and the lights and balloons are reusable.
