These were installed by our local mechanic-- they are amazingly bright! I have an 1990 F150-- so my high beam is a button on the floor-- these were installed twice- because we thought they were put in somehow wrong the first time-- the flaw will not affect me-- but.So, the low beam is higher than the low beam light-- so in my case-- I just make sure I click the beam button on the floor and they are good to go---- but. if these were installed on our newer truck- that has the sensors for when a vehicle is approaching the truck will automatically turn on the highbeam instead of the low beam.The light is incredibly bright-- low is crazy bright and high beam is liking turning night into day! I love them!
