Pretty but itchy after a while

My 5 and 7 year olds love these two tone glitters. My husband appreciates that they are not shiny. The adjustable size range fits me as an adult and my two little girls. However, they are not worn as often as I would have hoped as my daughter says the shiny stripe is itchy. They have a velvety underside that grips the hair well. But for some reason they are not worn as long as other hair accessories. It's fun to dress them up.
