I previously gave this rug a 5 star rating. What's changed? After being on my front porch for a month (in rain, sun and wind) I decided to wash the rug in my washing machine because it was dirty (some white squares were dirty and there were black spots I"m guessing from mud and dirt). I used my typical laundry detergent, Tide, and washed with cold tap water. The spots that were on the rug from being outdoors never came out. So now I have a buffalo plaid rug with black spots. While the rug is very durable the stained dirty rug no longer looks nice on my front porch. So I'm back looking for another rug.
