Bought to replace a Panasonic KXTG7622 set we've had for several years - probably 10 - due to button wear (blocking). The old device connected to my Bluetooth phone in about 3 seconds, which is about twice as fast. Sound quality and range seemed pretty good. The base unit didn't have a display like the old one. The phones were lighter and smaller - I liked the size and weight of the old one better. This device had more features, including an announcement about whether you had a text message and who it was from. Unfortunately one of the phone chargers stopped charging after a few days so I had to return the device. It was a storage unit so I think you're taking a chance. I am not sure if I will get the same if I reorder.
