The ad says the wire is 34 inches long and is adjustable. Our light came with 68 inches of wire. You can't cut the wire without damaging the light. He made money by drawing 34 inches in the light box for each of the five lights. This is an extra 15 feet of wire stuffed into a box that is 4 inches wide, 4 feet long, and 2 inches deep.
