We have a rat that needs a much bigger house than we already have, so we decided on this large multi-level cage. It's very big! There are 3 levels plus a deep floor tub, tunnel, spiral slide, ramp and hammock plus 4 floor wheels included in the set. The instructions were very easy to read and understand except that we had an issue getting the ramp pointed in the right direction. We could only attach it backwards because instead of having a horizontal line to walk out on, it could only be attached to the back to walk on, and the lines went in different directions. (Maybe we just don't get it) Our rat is still too scared to risk it all, which is why it hasn't even gotten that high (below the top level). So far he only climbs the 1st shelf, but slowly climbs the "hill”. The cage has 2 doors at the front and a large door at the top. Cleaning is easy as you can wipe down the shelves and take them out for a deep clean when needed. We didn't put the wheels on the floor because the cage is on a big table. We also added a 12" exercise bike to the side of the cage and there's still plenty of room! It appears to be a nice strong cage and shelves. We are very happy with this purchase, as is Splinter!
