Review on 🎵 VIZIO SB46514-F6 46-Inch 5.1.4 Premium Dolby Atmos Home Theater Sound System with Wireless Subwoofer, Rear Surround Speakers by William Pacino

I just opened up and installed this system about 2 hours ago. First impression: wow. This is exactly what I wanted when spending so much money on a sound system! The design is very stylish and modern. The satellites are of decent weight and look good. The subwoofer is the largest and heaviest I've seen on a soundbar. The subwoofer looks like it would fit nicely into any wired 5.1 or 5.2 system. Set up was easy as expected. The overall sound quality was very impressive right from the start. The sound was well balanced with low mids and highs. The subwoofer was very powerful yet controllable via the Smart Cast app/remote. Seriously, this system was impressive in the first game. Much more impressive than the NAKAMIHI 7.2 DTS-X system. Nakamichi was lacking in the midrange, and the subwoofers were filled with a certain amount of content. True, this does not apply to Vizio. Dolby ATMOS works with my Xbox One without any problems. Atmos is difficult to describe in words, so I recommend doing your own research. The high speakers in this system are VERY noticeable and very cool. I love her. Cons: This system is not very user friendly. The remote control is difficult to use. The app makes it easier, but the only display the soundbar has is a series of LED dots, which can be difficult to interpret without an instruction manual. There is no reliable way to find out what format you are in, for example: atmos dts or DD. In my opinion, these features are not a deal breaker. It may be possible to update it later to show the OSD with Vizio TVs. DTS-X: This is not supported by this soundbar. Support is not listed anywhere in the user manual, on the box, or on the website. On Facebook, however, the Vizio account responded to a comment on one of the images of this system and said that the soundbar supports DTSX, idk who to believe. Surly DTSX support could be added later via a firmware update, fingers crossed. I will update this review as I make progress. So far it's 5 stars! Edit: On 12/2/2018 I looked back and reviewed my conversations with the Vizio folks on Facebook. In fact, they have not confirmed the use of DTS-X. They said true DTS and DTS Virtual X. I also confirmed that it would not play DTS X on the system, otherwise the system continued to impress with sound quality. I've had a few instances where the system shuts down unexpectedly. I have to turn it back on manually to do this. Once the system is powered back on, all previous settings will be restored and everything will be back to normal. Haven't contacted vizio support yet, I'm either waiting for a firmware update or for a system with more frequent power outages, whichever comes first. UPDATE 01/10/19: The system continues to work very well with my Xbox One as the audio source. The aforementioned technical problems kept occurring to me. They have become neither more common nor less common. I estimate 1 in 15-20 times when the system is powered on via the TV's CEC control I will encounter a problem. The screen may go black, the sound cuts out, then suddenly the picture reappears and the sound returns to its original place. I think I lost the CEC connection between the TV and the system about 2 times and I had to unplug and plug the panel back in to turn it back on. These problems are too rare for me to stop enjoying the system. The sound continues to satisfy me with all types of content. In general, despite some failures, the system continues to work clearly and reliably. This is the most comfortable, affordable, and impressive surround soundbar I've ever seen.
