Review on πŸŽ₯ LEGO Palace Cinema Creator Set 10232 by Mike Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Another home run for Lego Creator!

I put off this review for a while until I could get some good photos of how I added the lighting so here it is. Just a wonderful build from start to finish. For those of you adding this to your "town" this set would make a great corner building. Was it easy to build and how long did it take? As with any 100+ brick Lego set, an adult helping with the intricate pieces will go a long way. It's not a difficult build, but if you place a brick in the wrong place, you can go back many steps to find the mistake. I took my time with this kit, so you watch about 50-60 hours. It has two floors, a lobby and a theater. There is a staircase that leads to the roof but not much to do there. The roof section can be easily removed to allow full access to the theatre. The theater portion of the building is easily removed as well, giving full access to a very lively and highly detailed lobby. All sections are easy to connect. The cinema has a modular structure and connects to other buildings on both sides. Although it's a large building and only has two levels, I've found that there's more "things" going on in this building than in most other sets. The lobby alone will arouse the interest of the children for a long time. This is a very simple and good set to play with. And with a little lighting, this is a very attractive building that will make a great addition to your growing city. Update 11/10/18 I was asked about the lithium battery listed in the product description. It states that one (1) battery is required, which is not included. Unless a kit upgrade has been performed, the kit does not contain anything at all that requires a battery of any type. The lighting I used for my kit I bought from Brick Loot.
