Review on πŸ‘Ÿ PS Athletic Shoe Covers for Dancing – 1 Pair of Socks Over Shoes, Sneaker Overshoes for Smooth Pivots & Turns by Sean Liu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Slippery but you can dance.

I bought these shoes to wear over tennis shoes as I was going to a dance retreat at the weekend and knew I would be spending many hours a day in classes and ballroom dancing in the evenings. I wear a men's size 8.5 and they fit comfortably over shoes. My first reaction was that they were too slippery to wear on hardwood floors. The video shows (sorry for the bad angle) that they LIGHTLY skidded across the floor. My first class was west coast swing classes and I had to take them out because I was just sliding too much. I tried them again but decided to wear them on carpets and different surfaces. After getting some dust on them they got better but still quite slippery. I have worn them to most seminars but not to dance nights because they are "too slippery". Someone suggested hairspray but I'm bald and didn't have any! I'll wash them and see if that helps. If so, I'll post an update here. Women who saw them liked that they covered their shoes and looked "less conspicuous" than some of the other dance "socks" or shoe covers they saw at the event.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic
