So I had two monitors that only had DVI and VGA outputs and I wanted to run them on my Macbook Pro. I bought them hoping they would stream video from my Macbook to these monitors so I could have multiple jobs for my photo and video projects. When I received these cables I was pleased with the construction, the cables felt thick and sturdy and the ends were gold plated and looked well made. Both ends mate very well with DVI and Thunderbolt ports with no play or play. As soon as I plugged them in, I immediately enjoyed my Macbook! He changed the monitors and made them extensions of the main screen, and they even had their own taskbars and docks. Overall I would say these are amazing cables that do exactly what they were designed to do! Now I have a 3 monitor workspace to use in my projects.
