These hooks look great but don't expect them to hold more than a light jacket unless you are careful to remove the jacket. I bought them to help organize kids coats and backpacks. I made sure to install them in a stud and that's when I discovered the first problem. Because the screws are on either side of the hook, it is difficult to securely center both screws in the rack. The hook also consists of two parts: a hook and a round disc that is attached to the wall. After a few short days, the hooks started falling off the wall. The round part was still firmly attached to the hairpin, but the hook part fell out. I bought 12 hooks and all but 2 broke, many broke within the first month. This leads to frustration and many wall repairs.
