So I am very disappointed with this combination of routers. I was really looking forward to that. On a positive note, I drove through them with my Comcast Blast at insane speeds! My download speeds were ridiculous. The downside was that the routers introduced delays. However, the one-star rating has more to do with ASUS technical support. So it's a good thing the speeds were amazing. Loading a GB of data to work was an easy task. Streaming services worked flawlessly throughout the house. Then enter online games. Every time I logged in to play Overwatch, I had a "hiccup" between keyboard and mouse input. At the same time the problem would have arisen. For example, if he was playing as 76 and running, he'd suddenly stop or play as Hanzo with a loaded arrow only for the arrow to release as if I was releasing the left click when I wasn't. This happened even when I connected directly to the AiMesh host router. I spent hours troubleshooting all sorts of other issues and settled on the ASUS AC68U combo. Unfortunately, Asus does not have any information on its support page. I called ASUS tech support only for the representative who took the call to immediately silence me. I thought, "okay, some reps suck" and called back. The next representative did the same. I was shocked, I always had amazing support whenever I called ASUS tech support. From someone who has worked with all aspects of technical support in a call center for almost two decades, I realized that the system probably thought I was offline and referred me back to the same agent. So I hung up and called back. The third time, the line increased and I heard the vendors whirling around. I waited a few minutes and then yelled that I would wait for them to answer the phone. The representative picked up the phone and immediately silenced me. I have notified the representative (off line) that if he or she does not answer I will call back, ask for the supervisor, let the supervisor know what happened, give my number and call time so they can contact Work Force . Management and use IEX to get Delegate ID (yes I did that when I worked in Work Force Management). The rep got on the phone right away and started making some flimsy excuses. I should have kept the excuses to herself and just given myself a few steps to change frequencies and channels, but at that point I was done with the product. My guess has more to do with the TS service and the fact that routers needed deep feature changes to support PC online gaming. If you are tech savvy, take the time to find the optimal settings for online gaming; Then buy this router - the speed is great and the dashboard is slick. If you're not tech savvy and want this for online gaming, keep shopping.
