The fit is comfortable but my Seagate Backup Plus 4TB portable external hard drive fits perfectly in this great case. This is a good quality case, the case is slightly non-slip and has rounded corners. I appreciate the carabiner and wrist strap. Small squares of foam embedded in the fabric on the side of the drive bay absorb extra shock. There is enough space on the cable/memory card side to store my cable and USB-C hub. I originally bought this for my 1TB Seagate Backup Plus Slim and ordered a large size for my thicker 4TB drive, but it fits well. I found my 1TB G-Drive hard drive to be too long for this case, so I will use the large size I ordered for G-Drive.
