Pros: It's stronger than expected due to its light weight which is good for holding a long range 15" rifle without extended leg extensions. But even with the next larger leg stretched out, it is still very durable. The lengthening of the next two leg extensions does not allow for smooth long-range shooting. But for use with a camera, that's more than enough. Reliable flip locks. Reliable locking mechanism on the center column. Cons: The tabs that lock the legs at different angles should automatically retract. When setting up, it's not common to reinsert the tab after the first pull to change the leg angle. Overall, I really like this tripod.
