Like the others, I had unused Schick FX cartridges (about 20) and figured I could save a few bucks by ordering a new pen and using the FX cartridges until they run out. But if you're used to the Schick Quattro by now, that logic will take you to a dark, gory place. Those old razor/handle combos are very unforgiving compared to the Quattro. Almost every time I've shaved with this item, I've cut myself using methods that aren't a problem with today's razors. The Schick Tracer FX was just a step up from the old single-blade disposable razors and I forgot about it. If you're thinking of ordering this to save money, don't. I was late for work today trying to keep my chin from bleeding so it's pretty much wiping out all my savings. I wish I had ordered new Quattro blades.
