I bought this set of light shifting lamps for a new 75 inch TV. The product description (photo #1) states splice points every 5cm or 2 inches. They can only be spliced in these places (photo #2). After I started cutting my runs, I found that the splice points on the set I received actually alternated between 7.75" and 11.5" repeatedly. I bought 90* corner connectors (pic #3) to get nice, sharp corners and they worked quite well. Note: If you use these connectors, you must observe the polarity when connecting. The polarity is marked on the lightbar. A TV that operates in the 8-12 inch range is quite difficult to get a decent job at maximum lighting. During a test run using masking tape, I found that the light bars had to be placed fairly close to the edge of the screen. TV. The item did not match the product description. In addition, a replacement set was made in the same wide interval. I am returning the 2nd set. I contacted Revain: a customer service representative offering to buy from another seller. They are sold by Olafus and shipped via Revain. And the Olafus set is the only brand I could find with a black background stripe. So I'm downgrading this purchase to 2 stars because I didn't receive the product I ordered once, but twice. The lights are of good brightness and if you don't plan on making connections then that might be fine. But they don't work for my application.
