Also sold as a genuine GM accessory, the tailgate lock is durable and well made. Installation was easy, but instructions are minimal and one of the steps may not be listed in the correct order. Again, the installation only took about 15-20 minutes. The locking feature, which allows the mechanism to encrypt your key, works as described. Great product and arrived within a few days.
